Shipping and Returns

Shipping

We ship to Australia, New Zealand, US and the UK.

For anywhere else in the world, please email info@huntercandles.com.au and we will send you a quote. 

Domestic Orders

FREE Domestic shipping on all orders over $65 (orders within Australia only)

Delivery can take up to 1 -4 days depending on your location.

We offer three shipping methods:

  • Pick up from our store in Newtown (2042 NSW) - Free

  • Pick up from our store in the Strand Arcade (2000 NSW) - Free
  • Domestic Standard (free for orders over $65) - $10

  • Domestic Express - $25

International Orders

All international orders will be shipped with in 48 hours, and delivery can take 1 - 7 business days from pick up. Depending on your location. Items are shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) so you may have to pay import duties, customs and local sales taxes to release your delivery. Policies vary by country so please check with your customs office.

  • Standard International - $75

All Prices are in AUD.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number.

Delivery

We will re-deliver, replace or refund the item (at your option) if we have incorrectly addressed the delivery. We take no such responsibility if you gave an incorrect or insufficient address.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • We want you to have a great experience with Hunter Candles. We accept returns within 30 days of dispatch, provided products are unused and in resalable condition. Make sure you keep all of the original packing material as this is an important part of our product.

  • To process a return, simply lodge it via our returns portal. After the return has been lodged you will receive a postage label to return your order to us. 

  • Please allow one week since receiving the items for us to process the refund. Shipping costs for returns at at customers' own expense -  the cost of shipping will be discounted from the refund total 

  • Alternatively, you can swap or return your choice in our Newtown store at 133 King St, Newtown 2044. Please email info@huntercandles.com.au to arrange the swap or return

  • If you have any questions, please email info@huntercandles.com.au

Faulty Items

  • We want you to be happy with your Hunter Candles Purchase. If there is any issue with your order please email vianney @huntercandles.com.au with information and/or images detailing the issue and someone from our customer service team will be in touch. We offer full refunds or replacements for faulty items. Photo’s must be supplied.

  • Please note that due to the limited supply of our products the item that you have purchased may have sold out and a full refund will be supplied.

Delivery

  • Please note we are not responsible for any damage or melting once our candles have been delivered successfully. We take care when delivering, so it's your responsibility after. Do not leave the candles out in the sun directly, or outside for long periods of time.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

We know how many of you were asking for options to reuse and recycle your candles, so we now offer two options:

  • Recycle: bring back your old Hunter Candles glass nice and clean for us to reuse or recycle and you’ll get a 10% discount on your next purchase

  • Refill: bring back your Hunter Candle glass for us to fill it again with your favourite scent and you’ll get 20% off

  • AfterPay

All our prices are inclusive of 10% GST. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

If ordering from international destinations you may incur foreign currency charges from your bank. Hunter Candles has no control over this, please contact your bank to learn about these fees.
