A cooling mist meanders through the dramatic peaks of our lush, rolling mountain ranges. Caught upon the breeze, southerly winds collect crushed greens from the sunburnt branches that stretch forth from the rock-strewn facade. Zesty bergamot and peppered grass evolves in harmony with herbal notes of freshly-cut oregano. Verdant ivy and earthen basil leaves are carried by majestic cedar, sun-dappled amber and leather-wrapped patchouli. While lost amongst green ash trees, gaze skyward and see streaks of cloud tumbling by. Mountain Ash is a welcome reminder to keep our eyes open.

Whilst on holiday recently I walked into a shop in Braidwood and the first thing I noticed was the scent. I asked the assistant what it was and she showed me a Hunter candle. So when I got home I decided to investigate this candle brand. I love my Mountain Ash candle- it's an earthy natural scent not too overpowering or sickly floral as many are. Even unlit the candle scents the air pleasantly, bringing the outdoors inside. This was not the fragrance I smelt in the shop but that might be the next one I order.

A gorgeous fresh smell that I get a whiff off whenever I walk past
I just love the smell of this candle and I love that everytime I walk past my bookshelf I can smell it - it's such a lovely sensual touch to my home. Hunter Candles are the best.
