A celebration of unexpected beauty that reveals itself as time passes. Taking inspiration from that final orange in the fruit bowl, Saffron Milk Cap unravels and explores the intricacies of ageing. An unmistakable burst of orange citrus, softened over time with a familiar, fermented cloak of earthen sweetness. As the dimpled skin disintegrates underside, deep resinous agarwood comes to the fore, finished with the smooth, creamy notes of saffron milk cap. A blend at once elegant and intriguing, wherein a subtle yet comforting strangeness belies its true beauty.

An elegant exploration of transformation — bright, earthy, and intriguingly complex
No. 1 opens with a vibrant burst of orange citrus, lively and fresh like the final fruit in a bowl, its zest slowly softening as the candle burns. Beneath this bright introduction lies the rich, resinous depth of agarwood, unfolding like aged earth wrapped in mystery. The journey concludes with the creamy warmth of saffron milk cap — a subtle, comforting sweetness that rounds out the blend with gentle smoothness. This candle is a beautiful meditation on time and change, where brightness and earthiness entwine in a dance both elegant and quietly strange.
Why I adore it:
Dynamic evolution: The scent’s unfolding layers create a captivating narrative of transformation.
Unconventional beauty: There’s a gentle strangeness that makes this candle endlessly intriguing.
No. 1 is a fragrant story — a delicate balance of light and depth, perfect for those who appreciate nuance and discovery.

Amazing
Love the earthy scent of this candle. Reminds me of walking through dry leaves and damp earth underneath. It has a very petrichor scent for me which I love.

A pleasant scent, however not one I would re order. Candles are very individual, so its back to the Australian rabge for me. Just ordered two more.
